Baptisms:
The Sacrament is celebrated by appointment. Please call the Rectory Office. Pre-Baptismal Class is required.
Marriages:
Diocesan Common Policy requires six months advance notification of the priest and attendance at a Pre-Cana Class.
Anointing of the Sick:
Anytime. A person need not be dying but simply sick from a serious illness or weak from old age to be anointed. Please call the Rectory Office.
Communion to the Sick:
For visits and Communion Calls to the sick, please notify the Rectory Office.
Regulations for Sponsors
The Church requires that all those who assume the responsibilities and obligations of sponsorship for the Sacraments of Baptism and Confirmation practice their religion faithfully and are exemplary in their conduct as members of the Roman Catholic Church. Consequently, those asked to be a sponsor should be able to answer the following questions with a resounding yes.
- Their current marital status and situation conforms to all Laws, Norms and Principals of the Roman Catholic Church.
- They believe and hold true all the official teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.
- They have been Baptized and Confirmed in the Catholic Church.
- They are in good standing and are an active members of the Catholic Church, attending Mass regularly on Sunday and Holy Days of Obligation.
- They are at least 16 years of age.
